CH2P @European Researchers’ Night 2019

The “European Researchers’ Nights 2019” are simultaneous public events dedicated to bringing researchers closer to the public.

The Researcher’s Night in Trento has taken place at MUSE – Science Museum on September 27th from 5:00 pm until late in the evening. The event has been organized by the University of Trento, Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Fondazione Edmund Mach and MUSE in collaboration with the Autonomous Province of Trento and under the patronage of the Municipality of Trento.

Fondazione Bruno Kessler participated to the event with numerous stalls, showing the different research streams addressed by the institute. Among these, the ARES research unit working on applied research on energy systems presented CH2P as one of their successful projects.

During the night, the CH2P posters and brochures were distributed to citizens to explain the project. The public was actively engaged by ARES’ researchers in understanding the promising scenarios of the hydrogen economy, focusing on the energy and transport sectors. The CH2P system-prototype has been presented together with its application in hydrogen refueling stations, receiving high interest by the public.

To conclude, the Researcher’s Night has been a very effective communication and dissemination event for informing citizens of the CH2P project and its role in promoting a transition towards the hydrogen economy.
